Why is the funnel made by plastic, not metal?

Metal absorbs heat and can reduce brew temp. We use FDA food-grade PP to help keep extraction temperature stable and consistent.
Is the water tank removable? Is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, the water tank is removable for easier filling and cleaning. Please hand-wash only (not dishwasher safe).
What happens if I accidentally remove the tank during brewing—will it leak?

It uses a non-contact magnetic leak-proof valve that automatically closes to help prevent spills.
Does it make cold brew? How long does it take?
